This cross-sectional study investigated vitamin D deficiency in 60 diabetic patients sample in Al-Zawiya City, Libya. The prevalence of vitamin D deficiency (<30 ng/mL) was high at 58.3%, with females showing higher rates than males. Middle-aged individuals (41-70 years) exhibited the highest prevalence. These findings emphasize the significant burden of vitamin D deficiency among diabetic patients, particularly in middle-aged females, highlighting the need for targeted interventions to address this modifiable risk factor
