THE EFFICIENCY OF THE MULTIPLE LINEAR REGRESSION MODEL IN IDENTIFYING FACTORS AFFECTING DIABETES PATIENTS

Abstract

In this research, we analyze and study the factors affecting diabetes patients, using a multiple regression analysis model, in order to reach statistical results that help researchers find appropriate explanations and study their most important causes. To get out with conclusion and recommendations that help and making appropriate decisions, the research targeted a sample of 70 diabetic patients inside a clinic during the year 2019, and several statistical methods were used such as correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression to achieve its target. The study resulted in a statistically significant relationship between sugar and (mass and age), and the absence of a statistically significant relationship between sugar and (pressure and gender). Finally, the study presented a set of recommendations to benefit from it.
