Similarity Ratio Guidelines
The overall similarity of the manuscript must not exceed 20%, according to the following guidelines:
Single Source Limit
Similarity from any single source must be less than 5%.
Excluded Sections
Certain sections, such as References and Appendices, are excluded from the calculation because they use standardized formats and terminology.
High Similarity (>20%)
- - Automatic Rejection: In cases of confirmed plagiarism.
- - Substantial Revision: Required if the high similarity is due to common phrases or technical terminology.
Scientific Exceptions
Exceptions may be granted for research of a special subject that exceeds the threshold, provided a written justification is submitted to the Editor-in-Chief.
