Abstract

This paper aims to define the concept of quality and how to reach it through the statistical methods used for quality control. One of the most important of these methods is what is known as the control map for quantitative variables in the case of several variables.

A quality study was conducted for random samples of chemical analysis results for the element (burning losses, silicon oxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, aluminum oxide, iron oxide, and sulfur trioxide). Using Hotelling's map, the optimum map that the company can adopt in the process of monitoring the results of the chemical analysis was reached by taking samples in the future to ensure that the production conforms to the required specifications.
