Abstract

The current research aims to identify the relationship between creative thinking and cognitive construction and how this affects increasing the outputs of the educational process in order to have a mentally sharp generation with a flexible mindset followed by unfamiliar and creative methods to be applied in their academic and social life; which in turn results in increasing the scientific and empirical renaissance and to achieve the sophistication we look forward. Hence, the researcher has used the descriptive method to describe the thesis statement and to recognize the importance of the creative thinking and what have been referred to by the literature reviews about the cognitive construction and to what extent the two can affect each other. By reviewing the previous studies and the interpreted theories, there is a strong correlation between the student's creative thinking and the cognitive construction. Creative thinking is considered a crucial too in motivating thinking and in organizing cognition in a flexible way by reinforcing such creative ability to enable the student to manipulate with complex cognitive concepts in a creative way that matches the academic educational level. Through what was presented for the results of the study, it is clear that reinforcing the students' creative thinking, plays an essential role in building their cognition and in refining their knowledge. Furthermore, the motive educational environment and the innovative methods contribute in pushing the students to think in more creatively and flexibly. Therefore, in order to achieve the harmony among the creative thinking and cognitive construction, there should be a strong assistance and support by the educational and social systems and organizations within the academic educational area, in addition to providing an environment for encouraging free thinking, trial and error. Cognitive development cannot be completed without having a space for innovation and creation. Hence, the importance of developing both in all aspects of life starting by education to work a social life
