The Level of Creative Thinking among Female Students of Human Sciences College for Girls at Alasmarya Islamic University

Abstract

This research aims at identifying the level of Creative Thinking among female students of Human Sciences College for Girls at Alasmarya Islamic University,  and exposing the differences in this level according to a group of demographic variables which are: academic major,  the age and marital status. To achieve the research objectives, a descriptive method was adopted, and a questionnaire was used as a main tool for collecting data, the population of the research consisted of (1024) female students,  a random sampling of 20% was selected, the total number was (205) female students. The data analysis ended up to several findings, the most prominent: . The overall level of creative thinking among female students at Human Sciences College for Girls is generally weak. . There are no statistically significant differences in the level of creative thinking according to the academic major variable.. There are no statistically significant differences in the level of creative thinking according to the age variable. . There are no statistically significant differences in the level of creative thinking according to the marital status. These results refer to the need to devote the creative thinking for the female students through targeted educational and training programs concerned with developing their creative thinking skills.
