About the Journal
The Journal of Basic Sciences (ISSN: 3105-8728) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that is published periodically (quarterly). It is dedicated to the publication of original research articles that have not been previously published and that contribute to the advancement of knowledge across various academic disciplines.

History of the journal and its publication versions
The journal was established in 1989 and has undergone several title changes throughout its history:
- From its founding in 1989 until Volume 5 (1993), it was published under the title "Journal of Human Sciences."
- From Volume 6 (1994) to Volume 32 (2019), it appeared as the "Journal of Human and Applied Sciences."
- From Volume 33, Issue 1 (2020) to Volume 35, Issue 2 (2022), the title became "Journal of Applied Sciences."
- Beginning with Volume 36, Issue 1 (2023) and continuing to the present, the journal has been published under its current name, "Journal of Basic Sciences."
- From 1989 to 2013, the journal was issued in print format only, and no electronic copies of those earlier volumes are available.

The Journal of the Academic Forum follows an open-access policy. All content is freely accessible and licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), permitting unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction provided the original work is properly cited.
Author Fees
In support of open science, the journal does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, or publication. All associated costs are fully covered by Alasmarya Islamic University, reflecting its commitment to advancing academic research and accessibility.
