Abstract

This study investigates the green synthesis of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) using Annona muricata seed extract. The synthesized gold nanoparticles were characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (EMS). The synthesized green gold nanoparticles showed a spherical to sub-spherical shape with sizes ranging from 20 to 60 nm (SEM). The strong broad peak observed at 3291.48 cm¹ from FTIR indicates hydroxyl stretching vibrations, which can be attributed to the presence of phenolic and alcoholic compounds in the seed extract
