Reticular Oral Lichen Planus -Clinical and Histopathological Correlation-

This paper presents the case of a 64-year-old woman who came to the Zliten dental clinic at the Faculty of Dentistry/ Al Asmarya Islamic University, on account of bilateral white plaque lesions on her mouth. She did not note the lesions , but she said she had little sores and irritations. The polymorphic aspect of the lesions required the differential diagnosis of oral leukoplakia and oral pemphigus vulgaris; as a result, after the clinical and pathological assessment, the diagnosis of oral lichen planus was established, and a therapy plan was conducted. Regular follow-up appointments every three months were recommended for clinical surveillance and early detection of any malignant changes.
