Youth Attitudes Toward Using the World Wide Web (Internet)
Field study on a sample of students of the Faculty of Arts Zliten

The purpose of this study is to identify the students’ attitude towards
the use of the World Wide Web (Internet) in terms of the programs
they use, and their positive and negative effects. The sample of the
study is the faculty of Arts students at Alasmarya University, Zliten,
Libya. Descriptive approach was used to achieve the research aims.
The study found that Internet has a great impact, especially on the
youth. Hence, the using of internet has negative consequences that
affect students’ study. Besides, the study found that male students
use the internet more than their female peers.
