CRITERIA for establishing the Arabic term

Abstract

This study aims to cover the most important efforts made to set standards that govern the placement of the term in the Arabic language, and includes individual efforts represented by Muhammad Hilmi Halil, Jamil Saliba, Ali Al-Qasimi, Ahmed Matloub, Muhammad Rashad Al-Hamzawi, Youssef Waglisi, and collective efforts represented by the Iraqi Scientific Academy and the Arabization Coordination Office of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization. It sheds light on those standards and the foundations on which they were set, and reaches what can be adopted as a general constitution that regulates the placement of the term in the Arabic language, which ends the state of dispersion and chaos of terms for a single concept .
