Abstract

The introduction to each interpretation is of great importance, and there is an urgent need to read and carefully consider it before starting to read or review any interpretation. It contains keys to doors that are sometimes tightly closed in understanding, and it is not possible to understand what is in the interpretation except by looking at its introduction. Most commentators have paid attention to the introduction and presentation of their interpretations. This is to introduce these interpretations and to explain the interpreter’s approach and how he proceeds in explaining and clarifying the words of God, His Majesty, starting with Imam Ibn Jarir al-Tabari and ending with Imam Ibn Ashour and those who came after him.This Imam Ibn Jazi - may God have mercy on him - the author of the interpretation entitled (Al-Tashil li Ulum al-Tanzeel) had written introductions before writing the interpretation, in which he explained what was mentioned above.In this research, there is an explanation of these introductions in which Ibn Jazi established his rules and the interpretive principles that he adhered to and followed. Before mentioning and explaining these rules, the interpreter Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Jazi al-Gharnati was introduced, and he mentioned a brief summary of his scholarly life, his sheikhs and students, his methodology in interpretation, and his death.  Then the researcher studied these rules and principles, clarified the ambiguous ones, clarified the ambiguous ones, explained each introduction after mentioning them, and clarified those rules and principles that the interpreter adhered to, thus facilitating consideration of the interpretation, and making the reader - and the researcher before him - know that each interpreter has his own methodology, which he adheres to and follows. on her.This is what I seek from God Almighty for success, guidance, and sincerity in work. Whatever was wrong, I pray to God for forgiveness and mercy, for He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, the Most Forgiving, the Generous. And whatever was right, praise be to God for His success and from Him.
