A study on a sample from Omar Al-Mukhtar Al Bayda University, and AL-Assmaria Islamic University, Zliten

The main purpose of the current study was to explore the performance of university teaching staff members at the Faculty of Arts-Omar El-Mukhtar University, and at the Faculty of Science-AL-Assmaria Islamic University from their students’ perspective. It also aimed to identify the differences in students' perspective according gender and faculty. The present study is based on the descriptive analytical method. 180 students (male and female) participated in the study. The results revealed that the students’ evaluation of the teaching staff members was generally positive. However, the results did not show significant difference in the evaluation of students according gender. The study found that there is significant difference in the students' evaluation according faculty, in favor of the Faculty of Arts.
