Abstract

The goal of this research is to treat the water polluted with the Blue  Nile  dye  used  in  dyeing  clothes.  The  method  of  photo-oxidation  was used in the presence of titanium dioxide as a catalyst and was  used  to  evaluate  the  factors  influencing  the  process  of  catalytic  cracking  of  the  dye  and,  subsequently,  its  rupture  and  disposal.  These factors include the study of the influence of pH on the photo  oxidation  process,  the  study  of  the  concentration  of  dyes,  the  catalyst  Wight,  the  influence  of  exposure  time  on  light,  and  the  study of the quality of light used as visible light alone and sunlight  (visible light with ultraviolet rays). From the results obtained, the  optimum conditions of Nile blue dye removal are, a strong pH and  concentration  of  catalyst  2g/l.  Finally,  this  study  concerns  with  protection  of  environment  from  hazardous  materials  as  well  as  sustains of non-conventional water resources.
