AYERS position morality

Abstract

This research sheds light on ayers position on ethics .the philosophy of morals has attracted the attention of many researchers in the contemporary are .because  ethics is one of the most important foundations on which human life is based and a necessary element for  the establishment and development of civilizations .Ayer is considered one of the pioneers of contemporary western thought that adopted (logical positivism)  .The research was limited to clarifying ayres position on ethics through his book.(language .truth and logic ) The research also dealt with ethics in the light of the principle of fixation and the status of moral expressions among the types of expressions .he dealt with ayres emotional .theory and the analysis of descriptive and normative ethics and freedom of will .Ayer concludes that moral expression are emotional and not descriptive ,and that they express feelings ,rather than actual facts and moral judgments are directive judgments.
