Abstract

This research is titled the development of measuring time and calendars of years It is considered a study in the development of geographical thought that traces the researcher in its pages the interests of man since the earliest human civilizations with the phenomenon of time And its changes and its relationships with cosmic phenomena, the sun and the moon, and summarized the efforts of geographers in developing annual calendars that set the units of time measurement with its particles from year to month to day to hour to minute to second. The researcher also traced the beginnings of making time machines from various hours, supporting this with some photographs that the researcher could access in ancient sources and the Internet.  In an attempt to get to know these human achievements and the role of geographers in building them.
