Counseling needs of students of the Faculty of Education, Misurata University

Abstract

   The current research aimed to identify the counseling needs of the students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Misurata (psychological, academic and social). The counseling needs, and the research reached results, the most important of which are: that the psychological counseling needs came in a medium degree, and the acute psychological counseling need is fear when exam dates are approaching, and the academic needs came in medium intensity, and the social needs came in a low level of intensity, how much the results showed that there is no There are statistically significant differences about the counseling needs according to the gender variable (male, female) for the psychological, academic and social needs. In addition to the tension they suffer when exam dates approach, workshops and counseling programs (psychological and social) must be implemented to develop self-confidence skills, and the media must pay attention to presenting programs offered by specialists in psychology, guidance and counseling with the aim of educating young people to solve their psychological, social and academic needs and problems.
