Requirements for Submission of Manuscripts
Submission & Initial Screening
- Forms: Submit a written undertaking to comply with standards and a conflict of interest declaration.
- Format: Submit an electronic Word copy based on the journal’s template.
- Numbering: The system assigns a unique reference number, which must be included on all related documents.
The editorial board conducts an initial screening to ensure:
- Adherence to journal guidelines.
- Scientific soundness and relevance.
- Clarity of content.
* Manuscripts may be rejected at this stage with a written explanation.
Originality & Quotation Policy
All submissions undergo originality screening using iThenticate to ensure compliance with citation ethics.
The total of quotations must not exceed 20% of the manuscript:
- Direct Quotations: No more than 30% of the 20% total allowance.
- Scholarly Exceptions: Permitted with prior written approval from the Editor-in-Chief.
Peer Review Mechanism
Manuscripts are evaluated by qualified referees assigned by the editorial board based on expertise.
Referees assess via approved forms and cannot edit content directly. All evaluations are strictly confidential.
Reports are due within 15 days. Unjustified delays or unsubstantiated reports may be rejected by the board.
Evaluation, Decisions & Priorities
- Categories: Accepted, Accepted with minor revisions, Accepted with major revisions, Rejected.
- Minimum Score: A manuscript must receive at least 65% to qualify for publication.
- Evaluations strictly follow standardized forms.
- Author Response: Authors must address all comments. In disagreements, the board makes the final call.
- Publication Priority: Based on timely revision, disciplinary/author diversity, and relevance to urgent local issues.
