Time to Online Publication
The Journal of Economic and Political Sciences adheres to international publishing standards as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We maintain strict timeframes to ensure a transparent and efficient peer-review process, allowing authors to easily track the status of their manuscripts through our online submission system.
Publication Process & Timeframes
The overall duration of the publication process is divided into several key stages:
1. Initial Screening
3 - 7 Work Days- Structured abstract (purpose, methods, findings, originality).
- Keywords verification (3-6 terms).
- Strict adherence to APA 7th edition style.
- Similarity must be ≤20% (and <5% from a single source).
- Manuscripts exceeding these thresholds are desk-rejected.
2. Peer Review
7 - 30 Work Days- Double-blind review by a minimum of two independent experts.
- Conflicting reviewer reports exist.
- Ethical concerns arise (e.g., authorship disputes).
3. Revision & Compliance
2 - 4 Weeks- Accept (with Minor or Major revisions).
- Reject (with detailed reviewer comments).
- Must meet ICMJE criteria and FAIR data principles.
- Submit a revised manuscript and a point-by-point response within a maximum of 30 days.
4. Final Review & Publication
8 - 28 Days- Validation by Content and Copy Editors.
- CrossCheck performed on revised sections.
- DOI assignment and ORCID integration.
- Early Online First publication within 48 hours of final proof approval.
