Copyright Policy
1. Introduction
The Journal of Economic and Political Sciences is committed to upholding intellectual property rights while simultaneously promoting free and open access to scholarly research. This copyright policy outlines the journal’s stance on copyright ownership, authors’ rights, and user responsibilities in strict alignment with international academic publishing standards.
2. Copyright Ownership
In alignment with Open Access policies and the requirements of major international indexing databases, copyright is retained by the Journal upon the manuscript's acceptance for publication.
This measure ensures the work remains freely accessible to the global academic community. Both authors and the public are granted broad rights of use and distribution under the Creative Commons License (CC BY 4.0), while ensuring that the original authors receive full credit for their work.
Despite the copyright transfer, authors retain the following extensive rights under the CC BY 4.0 license:
- The right to use their article for teaching, presentations, and scholarly activities.
- The right to post the published version on personal websites or institutional repositories (Self-Archiving).
- The right to reuse figures, tables, and portions of the article in future works.
- The right to be permanently acknowledged as the original authors.
Users of the journal’s published content are required to:
- Properly cite and attribute the original authors and the journal as the primary source.
- Refrain from misrepresenting the content or using it in misleading contexts.
- Respect all terms of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) License.
- Obtain separate permission for the reuse of any third-party content not covered by the journal's open license.
