Author Rights and Responsibilities
Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Economic and Political Sciences are entitled to specific rights that protect their intellectual contributions. In return, they are expected to adhere to strict responsibilities to ensure the highest standards of academic integrity and quality.
Author Rights
In compliance with DOAJ standards, the Journal retains copyright. Articles are published under the open-access Creative Commons license (CC BY 4.0), granting authors broad reuse rights.
Authors have the right to archive the accepted or published version in institutional repositories, and share it via academic networks or for educational purposes, provided the journal is cited.
Authors may reuse parts of their work (e.g., figures, data) in future works or derivative research, provided the original publication in the Journal of Economic and Political Sciences is cited.
Authors receive full recognition. They have the right to appeal editorial decisions and request retractions or corrections of published work in the event of significant errors.
Author Responsibilities
To ensure the highest standards of academic integrity, authors must adhere to the following:
Submitted work must be entirely original and free from plagiarism. All sources must be properly cited.
Only individuals who made a significant contribution should be listed. All co-authors must approve the final version.
Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships influencing the research.
Ensure accuracy of findings, provide access to raw data when needed, and promptly report any discovered errors.
Do not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal. Republishing prior content is prohibited.
Comply with ethical standards (human/animal subjects). Authors may be invited to peer-review other works.
