Morphological study of two species of brown algae ( Cystoseira compressa , Dictyopteris membranacea ) collected from al-sabri coast, Benghazi

Benghazi is located in the northeastern part of Libya, overlooking the Mediterranean coast. It has a coastline rich in marine algae, extending approximately 18 km in length. This study was conducted on the Al-Sabri coast in Benghazi during June and July 2024, to collect and identify the brown algae Cystoseira compressa and the brown alga Dictyopteris membranacea. Both species were identified through a morphological study.
