Journal of Marine Sciences and Environmental Technologies (JMSET) is an international scientific peer-reviewed journal, which is published semi-annually (June-December) by the Faculty of Marine Resources at Alasmarya Islamic University (AIU)-Libya. It bears the International Standard Serial Number ISSN for the printed version (2413-5267) and for the electronic version (2706-9966), and it also bears the legal deposit in the National Book House in Benghazi No. (402/2019).

JMSET is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal that is published periodically and does not charge any publication fees.

Journal History:

The Journal of Marine Sciences and Environmental Technologies (JMSET) was established in 2015 according to Resolution No. 253/2015 of the Alasmarya Islamic University Council. The journal provides an opportunity for researchers from around the world to publish original and innovative scientific work in the fields of marine sciences and environmental engineering & science, with a strong commitment to research ethics and scientific methodology.

JMSET publishes original, unpublished material in either Arabic or English, including applied and theoretical research articles, scientific reviews, research reports, short scientific communications, and reports from conferences, meetings, seminars, scientific forums, abstracts of theses, and other scholarly activities related to the fields of marine and environmental sciences and technologies.

 Journal Objectives:
The Journal of Marine Sciences and Environmental Technologies (JMSET) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to publishing original research in the fields of marine sciences and environmental technologies. The journal aims to contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge in these disciplines and to foster communication and collaboration among researchers both locally and globally.

Article processing and publishing fees:

There is no fee when submitting or evaluating the article. The journal operates under an open-access publishing system that does not charge any publication fees for articles. The article will be available immediately and free of charge when it is published in the journal and perpetuity.
