Psychological Frgility' Among Employees of The Faculty of Arts at Asmarya Islamic University in Light of Some Variables

Abstract

The present study aimed to identify the level of psychological vulnerability among employees of the Faculty of Arts at Asmarya Islamic University in light of certain variables, specifically gender and years of experience, using a survey method and a descriptive approach. The results revealed that the level of psychological vulnerability among the employees was above average, with a relative weight of 77%, indicating a noticeable degree of psychological vulnerability among the staff. The dimension of sensitivity to criticism and evaluation ranked first with a very high degree, followed by procrastination and emotional avoidance in second place, weakness in dealing with workplace conflicts in third place, and finally fear of rejection and weak professional relationships in fourth place. Furthermore, the results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in psychological vulnerability attributed to gender, as both males and females showed similar levels of vulnerability. Likewise, the findings showed no statistically significant differences based on years of experience, suggesting that professional experience does not clearly influence the level of psychological vulnerability among employees.
