Abstract

This research highlights the extent of the influence of Greek beliefs on the Roman religion in the community of the city of Cyrene, the capital of the Cyrenean region, after it was subject to Roman control, through the continuation of the worship of the two gods, Apollo and Artemis, along with the other Roman gods, as it represented a stage for the convergence of different beliefs and cultures that intertwined and intertwined with each other. As well as focusing on the special religious status that these two gods enjoyed by the Romans, which was represented in the interest in their temples and their altars, in a scene that represents the fusion and fusion between the two religions, which produced a Greco-Roman religion that had its own characteristics, conditions and factors for its survival and continuity, and it was spread in the rest of the cities of the region
