Abstract

The changes in hormones that occur during puberty can cause cells to react excessively to irritants, much like in adults where long-lasting beneficial habits develop. Several studies have highlighted the correlation between poor gum health and premature delivery, as well as the link between molar-incisor hypoplasia and dental cavities, and the emotional distress caused by cavities between teeth, along with the impact on quality of life and teeth misalignment. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of new laser technologies for stimulating gum health and treating puberty-related gingivitis, compared to traditional methods. Each age group has a unique response to irritants, which can be explained by the cellular and morphological characteristics of living tissues.
