Difficulties Faced by Students of Arts Faculty at Misurata University in Preparing Graduation Research Projects

Abstract

the aim of the research was to identify the difficulties faced by students of the Departments of Education and Psychology at the Faculty of Arts, Misurata University in preparing their graduation research projects, and to take together students from the two sections of education and psychology at the time of preparing their graduation projects. The sample was random in size (24), followed by a descriptive analysis of the syllabus and its suitability for the nature of the research. To achieve the objective of the study, the researchers prepared a questionnaire of (36) paragraphs and validated by a group of 14 referees. The persistency factor has been calculated using the Alfa Kronbah equation (0.89).                                                                                    
A-The results of the descriptive analysis of the questionnaire paragraphs showed agreement of the students of the Education and Psychology Departments that there are difficulties in doing their graduation projects.                                                                
B-The results of the descriptive analysis of the questionnaire paragraphs showed agreement of the students of the Education and Psychology Departments that there are difficulties in doing their research projects with differences in determining the level of difficulty, minor problems for the students of the Education Department and major problems for the students of the Psychology Department.                                    
C-The results of the analysis showed that there are statistically significant differences at (0.05) between the answers of the students of the Education and Psychology Departments.
