This research, examines the extent of air pollution in the city of Sirte, north of Libya - with some heavy metals, and the roots of eucalyptus chemphocephala (PECR) have been used as a biomarker. Root samples were collected from different places in Sirte in late May 2022, where some elements were estimated respectively ( Cd+2, Cu+2, Hg+2, Co+2, pb +2, Mn+2, Ni+2 ), so solid samples ( PECR) were measured by , Eiemental Analysis By Energy Dispersive X_Ray Fluorescence (EDXRF|) as dry weight,The results were as follows ( 0. 146, 0. 0.627, 0.518, 0.328, 0.0834, 2.27, 1.81) mg/L respectively. The results of metal concentration when using the atomic absorption spectroscopy device were based on liquid samples after acidification, no results were recorded except for metals (Zn+2, pb+2, Hg+2 (where Hg+2 < Zn+2 < Pb +2 ) respectively. The results obtained in this search for heavy element ratios were consistent with the recommended concentrations of the International Committee for Environmental Protection.
