Abstract

This study explores how the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) framework within Six Sigma can enhance institutional performance at Al-Asmariya Islamic University, specifically targeting quality improvement in administrative and academic processes. The research assesses current operational efficiency, identifies systemic shortcomings, and highlights areas where resource waste can be minimized. Data was gathered via a tailored questionnaire and analyzed statistically. The findings reveal a high level of institutional awareness regarding the value of Six Sigma, alongside a moderate, though unevenly distributed, availability of its operational requirements. While respondents strongly agree that the methodology can effectively drive the university toward its strategic goals, full implementation faces challenges related to infrastructure, human capacity building, and system integration. However, because these barriers are not considered severe, the study concludes that a gradual, well-calibrated rollout of Six Sigma can steadily improve quality performance and support long-term institutional excellence.
