Abstract

       Indeed, all praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, we seek His help, and we ask for His forgiveness. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. May Allah bless him, grant him peace, and bestow His grace upon him, his family, and all his companions. Now then: Our research was entitled: The Group of Deniers of the Sunnah, and we discussed in it the claims of this group regarding the invalidity of using the Sunnah as evidence and their denial of it being the second source of Islamic legislation. The research was divided into an introduction, five sections, and a conclusion In the introduction, we discussed the background to this topic, the reasons for its selection, the research problem that leads to the desired goals and results, the objectives leading to a correct understanding of the subject of this research, and the methodology The approach taken in writing the research was to review previous studies similar to this research. The first section discussed the origins of this historical group, the second section addressed their most important ideas, and the third section clarified their aims and objectives The fourth section discusses their methods and approaches in achieving their goals. The fifth and final section addresses the reasons for their spread. We conclude this research with a summary of its most important findings and recommendations aimed at further study of such topics and the achievement of desired outcomes.
