Women's work and its role in regulating reproductive behavior

Abstract

   In this research, we discussed women’s work and its role in regulating reproductive behavior. Through the research, we revealed the major role of women’s work in regulating their reproductive behavior and the number of children that a woman wants to have during her fertility period. The aim of this research is to identify the role that women’s work plays in regulating her reproductive behavior and reducing The number of children a woman gives birth to, according to the point of view of professors at the Asmariya Islamic University. The research reached many results, including that a woman’s work has a significant impact on her reproductive decisions and the continuation of childbearing. The research also showed that there is a change in the culture of society and its acceptance of women’s work and their leaving the home in addition to their work and interest in it. With the husband and children, the research also showed that the sample members agreed to use contraceptives and to stop them completely. The research revealed that working women are affected by the changes taking place in Libyan society in terms of the availability of contraceptives and family planning, which has greatly helped in the reproductive health process and regulating reproductive behavior.
